Sarah Bernhardt July-August

This beauty was named after Sarah Bernhardt, perhaps the most famous actress of all time.  And like the actress, this peony is also a show stopper with an enormous following. This fragrant flower comes in all shades of pink, from a coy blush to an evocative hot pink.  The mid-season double bloom, packed with frilly pink petals is reminiscent of the can-can dancers from the actress's native France. One thing is sure, these Sarahs have lasting power, whether on the stage or in the vase.
