*WHY 70 POUND ROOTS?
Over the years we have planted peonies as bare roots, divided roots and complete root balls. On our farm the complete root balls have recovered and reached full production much faster and as a result made up for any difference in price with marketable blooms. However, if you are looking for volume, you can easily split these roots and have multiple roots from each plant you buy. The soil surrounding each root is high quality topsoil that has been tested and amended annually to nourish peony growth.
